Altar Crucifix | Solid Silver Jesus Christ Antique 22"
A RARE and beautiful French antique wooden altar crucifix featuring solid sterling silver (tested): Corpus Christi (Body of Christ), INRI sign and base decorations including the Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus, Saint Philomena with the anchor and Saint Barbara. This crucifix comes from a monastery in France and dates back to the 1700s.
General: The overall dimensions of the cross are a height of 22 inches (56 cm), a width of 6.9 inches (17.5 cm), a depth of 4.3 inches (11 cm). The overall dimensions of the Jesus statue are a height of 7.9 inches (20cm), a height from the head to the toes of 6.9 inches (17.5 cm) and a width of 5.3 inches (13.5 cm).
Condition: The crucifix is in good condition with no damage besides age-related wear - accidents to the base veneer - please see the enclosed images as part of the condition description.
