A RARE, large and beautiful Italian antique - baroque gilded and polychromed wood sculpture depicting the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei) representing Jesus from the Gospel of John: "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world". It comes from a monastery in Italy and dates back to the Baroque period of the 1700s.
General: The overall dimensions of the statue are a height of 10.6 inches (27 cm), a width of 16.9 inches (43 cm) and a depth of 4.5 inches (11.5 cm).
