Corpus Christi Statue | 1700s / 1800s
This is a beautiful antique 18th / 19th-century Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) wooden statue with a great deal of detail. It comes with a bespoke metal display stand, from which it can be easily removed and used for a cross or wall display. The sculpture comes from a monastery in France and dates back to the mid to late 1800s.
General: The overall height with the stand is 15 inches (38 cm). The overall dimensions of the Corpus Christi statue are a height of 12.2 inches (31 cm), a height from the toes to the head of 10.4 inches (26.5 cm), a width of 9.8 inches (25 cm) and the metal base is 3 inches (7.5 cm) wide.
