A large, RARE and beautiful 1700s antique / baroque wooden sculpture depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. Stunning woodwork artistry with large amounts of detail, like the silver plated heavenly clouds, the gilded flame and the crown of thorns around the heart. The statue comes with a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and displayed on a wall. It comes from a convent in France and dates back to the baroque period of early 1700s.
General: The overall height with the stand is 21.7 inches (55 cm). The overall dimensions of the Sacred Heart statue are a height of 18.9 inches (48 cm), a width of 10 inches (25.5 cm), a depth of 4.7 inches (12 cm) and the metal base is 5.9 inches (15 cm) wide.
