Corpus Christi Sculpture | 1500s Antique
A RARE and beautiful 16th-century Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) wooden sculpture. The Corpus Christi comes with a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and used for wall or other display. The sculpture comes from a monastery in France and dates back to the period of the 1500s.
General: The overal height with the stand is 21.7 inches (55 cm). The overall dimensions of the Christ sculpture are a height of 15.9 inches (40.5 cm), a height from the toes to the head of 15.7 inches (40 cm) a width of 14.2 inches (36 cm) and the metal base is 5.9 inches (15 cm) wide.
