This is a very large and beautiful French antique wooden church altar crucifix featuring a stunning Corpus Christi (body of Chrtist) statue with a huge amount of details and a wonderful base decorated with rocaille and acanthus motifs. It dates back to the early mid- to late 1800s.
General: The cross's overall dimensions are 40.2 inches (102 cm) high and 15.6 inches (39.5 cm) wide. The overall dimensions of the Corpus Christi are 18.9 inches (48 cm) high, 15 inches (38 cm) high from the head to the toes and 11.2 inches (28.5 cm) wide. It weights 4.4 kg / 9.7 pounds.
