Memento Mori Wood Carving with Chain | Italian 1700s Antique
A very RARE Italian antique wooden double-skull Memento Mori with a chain. This Memento Mori comes with a bespoke metal display stand from which it can be easily removed and displayed in other ways. It comes from a privat collection and dates back to the 1700s.
General: The overall height hanging with the stand is 17.7 inches (45 cm). The overall dimensions of the Memento Mori heads are a height of 3.9 inches (10 cm), a width of 7.3 inches (18.5 cm), and a depth of 3.3 inches (8.5 cm). The display metal stand base is 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide.
Condition: The Memento Mori is in good condition, with age-related wear. Please see the enclosed images.
