Our Lady of The Pilllar Virgin Mary | Solid Sterling Silver
A RARE and exceptional Spanish 1700s /1800s antique solid sterling silver (tested) sculpture depicting Our Lady of The Pillar - the name given to the Blessed Virgin Mary in the context of the traditional belief that Mary, while living in Jerusalem, supernaturally appeared to the Apostle James the Greater in AD 40 while he was preaching in what is now Spain. The column is made of marble and the decorations on the column are also silver. It dates back to the 1700s / 1800s.
General: The overall dimensions are 12.6 inches (32 cm) high, 3.1 inches (8 cm) wide, and 3.1 inches (8 cm) deep. Virgin Mary statue is 3.5 inches (9cm) height.
