This is a beautiful antique French wood relief statue from the mid- to late 1800s depicting a pair of baroque winged Angels. The wood carving artistry is stunning, wonderfully polychromed, and gilded, with delightful facial expressions. The statue comes with a metal display stand with a square base, from which it can be easily removed and displayed hanging.
General: The overall height with the stand is 16.9 inches (43 cm). The overall dimensions of the angels sculpture are a height of 11.6 inches (29.5 cm) a width of 18.1 inches (46 cm), a depth of 4.9 inches (12.5 cm) and the metal base is 7.9 inches (20 cm) wide.
