St Christopher Child Jesus Wooden Statue 8.5”
A beautiful Italian wood carving sculpture depicting Saint Christopher carrying Child Christ. Patron saint of travellers, traveling, transportation, drivers, sailors, bachelor, storms, epilepsy, gardeners, holy death and toothache. Stunning hand carving workmanship with huge amounts of details and wonderful polychrome (painting in colour) and gilding. Dating back to the period of the mid to late 1900’s.
