A RARE, large and beautiful church antique - 1800s wooden statue depicting St Anthony of Padua (also known as Antonio di Padova or Antonio de Padua) holding infant Jesus and featuring a religious habit of Friar Minor, a lily, book and angel. Also features removable gilded wooden halos. The sculpture comes from a monastery in France and dates back to the mid-1800s.
